We aim to harness a mechanistic understanding of biological processes for next-generation crop improvement, including the development of novel and non-food products. Our research integrates experimental (lab-to-field) and in silico work for functional biology studies, including bioinformatics, genomics, proteomics, metabolite/lipid profiling, and crop transformation. We also play an important role in co-ordination for high-specification controlled environment facilities as required for genetically-modified and gene-edited organisms.
